The 46th edition of the National Arts Festival, an amazing 11-day celebration of the best in performance and visual art in South Africa, will run in Makhanda from 25 June to 5 July 2020.

The Festival’s Main programme is curated by the Artistic Director, working with the Executive Producer and the Artistic Committee. Submissions of proposals to be part of the Main in 2020 are now closed.

The National Arts Festival Fringe is an open-access platform for art – and artists – of all kinds. Applications for the 2020 Fringe are now closed.
