A group of voiceover actors, playing other voiceover actors star in this quirky comedy about the madcap shenanigans that go on behind the mic! While trying to record a classic radio play, the cast finds themselves in a sudden predicament and a race against time as they attempt to impress their corporate sponsor. With fate throwing them as many curve balls as she can, will they pull off the impossible? A delightful bit of fun to warm you up this Winter… so tune in for a good giggle! An outrageous comedy from the team behind last year’s Ovation award-winning “Butlers” radio play.

ABOUT THE ARTISTS

KEA BRAND
Kea is a professional singer & entertainer. Having studied Performing Arts at The Stage Performing Arts School, she then worked for The Barnyard Theatre, touring Gauteng and KZN. Thereafter, she taught speech and drama at various schools around the Western Cape and was awarded the lead in a web commercial ‘Hey Albert’ and has also featured in Sunny Leonnes autobiography, Haagendazs as well as in a Marriot Hotels’ series – to name a few. In 2019, she was contracted by El-live as an entertainer to sing in upmarket hotels, clubs and lounges in China. Outside of her love for the arts, she is also passionate about beauty and holistic therapy and runs her own studio in Durbanville, Cape Town.

KEEGAN WILLIAMS
Keegan is a dedicated singer, songwriter and recording artist. In recent years, he has built up a keen interest in voice acting with a repertoire of many characters and accents. Keegan has done voiceover work for Pressure Cooker Studios, where he has done various characters and accents in advertising for many successful brands. Completing his NQF4 in contemporary vocals, guitar and music structure and development, Keegan has established himself in the music industry as a successful funk, blues and soul singer and songwriter. Over the years, he has led and formed part of various corporate and event-based bands and, along with other partners, has also established an event and recording company.

JOS NEL
From a young age, Jos had a burning passion for theatre, ever since the first grade where he competed in poetry recitation at the Tygerberg Eisteddfod. Later, he won several ATKV-tienertoneel awards and has starred in a number of ‘Butlers’ productions at the National Arts Festival, including the Ovation award-winning ‘Butlers and Billionaires’. In 2019, he played Aslan in the Playhouse Theatre production of ‘The Chronicles of Narnia’ and has also been an extra on the international TV series, ‘Black Sails’. In 2020, Jos completed his degree in Psychology and currently works as an English editor for Pixelogic.

CJ BERGH
CJ is a sound designer, editor and music composer. He has created music and sound for a number of South African theatre and dance productions, video games, short films and documentaries. He has achieved distinctions in Musicology and Sound Engineering and is currently working towards his Master’s degree. When he is not studying or tinkering with a new musical instrument, CJ teaches music to all age groups and also performs in multiple music groups, from jazz to rock.

JUSTIN WILKINSON
Justin has been actively involved in theatre for almost 30 years. Having studied at both UCT and UNISA, he has written and directed numerous sell-out comedy shows and is a familiar face at the National Arts Festival. He regularly MC’s corporate events, does work as a voice over artist and even had a brief spell as a radio presenter. In addition, he also serves as a creative consultant on a number of projects and even finds time to serve as a mentor to up-and coming actors in the industry. This year is Justin’s 23rd consecutive year of participation in the Festival Fringe and he is thrilled to be back!
