ABOUT THE ARTISTS
The work was originally performed on the WITS Amphitheatre stage in 2018. In 2019 it was performed at NAF as part of the Fringe Festival. It later went on to the 969 Festival and POPArt Theatre that same year.
Armed with a theatre space to film in, a small team of theatre makers, cinematographers, and sound designers, this short film will use the stage as a 3-dimensional setting. Using simplistic lighting, editing tricks and the imagination, the creators are aiming for a multi-disciplinary work that experiments with a wide range of mediums such as animation, projection and 35mm film.
Whilst the team is small, all members are committed to experimentation and play. With firm roots in the theatre and cinematic worlds, the team is striving to bridge the gap between the two.
A filmed version of both the 2018 and 2019 renditions are available for reference.
