Bongani Tulwana also known as KoraX, born and bred in New Brighton, Nelson Mandela Bay, is a multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, music director, educator, producer and composer who is passionate about developing and nurturing young musicians. A music graduate of Nelson Mandela University, KoraX credits his former lecturer the late Prof. Errol Cudemby with eoncouraging him to compose music outside of what he was formally taught. Bongani KoraX Tulwana has worked alongside many jazz gurus including Dudley Tito, Zim Ngqawana, Feya Faku, Musa Mavundla, Stompie Mavi and Mahesh Narotam. He has also been part of several theatre productions staged at the PE Opera House, the National Arts Festival in Makhanda and the Baxter Theatre.
