Lesedi follows the life of a young woman who just graduated from university. She is keen to get back into the real world and make a success out of her life but all does not to go according to her wishes. She discovers that her life is built on lies and betrayal and before things get better for her, the must face some challenges.

Lesedi was first conceptualised under the capacity building programme held by the Performing Arts Center of the Free State. It was chosen as one of the three productions from the program and premiered at PACOFS in 2019. It won nine awards out of thirteen. In 2020 the production returned to PACOFS and shot it first virtual performance.

Khauhelo Maikhi is a university of the Free State Drama and Theater graduate. He was a nominee for the Elizabeth Kranz Best artistic achievement award. Khauhelo is the writer and producer for Lesedi and The Masks. He performed in a number of productions including Masotes Dream, Feder, Charred lullabies, to name a few. He was a stage manager for Adjusted, Rook, Masotes Dream tour and The Three little Bitches. As a student he performed in plays such as The Bar, Checkmate, Aspoestertjie and Kovsie lane.

Khauhelo worked as a Drama facilitator for the Free State Department of Arts and Culture from 2016 to 2017. He gives back to the community by mentoring community theater productions and helping them penetrate the professional stage.
