ABOUT THE ARTISTS

Rob van Vuuren
Rob van Vuuren is a multi-award-winning actor, comedian, MC, director, writer and voice over artist.
Rob is also Twakkie from the cult comedy sensation The Most Amazing Show whose countless live shows and two enormously successful television seasons he co-wrote, produced and directed alongside Louw Venter. As a comedian and theatre actor, his career has taken him to stages all over the country as well as Perth, London, Brighton, Amsterdam, Dubai, Sharjah and Edinburgh.
His recent film work includes doing multiple voices and creative development on the Triggerfish animated film Seal Team for Netflix, as well as a critically acclaimed turn as the drill-wielding maniac in the cult hit Slumber Party Massacre for SyFy.
Upcoming work for 2022 includes a starring role in the Netflix series Luddik, as well as voicing multiple characters for Sunrise Studios’ new animated film Jungle Beat 2.
