Standard Bank Jazz Festival

The Standard Bank National Youth Jazz Festival has taken place in Makhanda for the past 28 years, bringing together 350 students and teachers from around SA to watch the performances of the Standard Bank Jazz Festival Makhanda. A key part of this festival is that the students get direct interaction with the performing jazz musicians, who hold workshops and discussions with the attendees. This year the SBNYJF students all have access to the online Jazz Festival, and they also have opportunities to virtually meet the musicians online in these discussions.
