Undead Generation (formerly known as The Tsotsis) is a “punk fusion” band from Gqeberha (formerly Port Elizabeth), South Africa aspiring towards starting something, creating something, changing some things, being something, and having fun whilst doing so. After countless line-up and membership changes, the band has become somewhat more of a shape-shifting musical collective, encouraging and welcoming friends to join the family of music, punk rock, community, and fun that is Undead Generation.

They have shared the stage with international acts such as Comeback Kid (Canada), Ashes (Belgium) and Vuvuvultures (UK) as well as many national acts such as Straatligkinders, Truth And Its Burden amongst others.

ABOUT THE ARTISTS

Undead Generation (formerly known as The Tsotsis) is a “punk fusion” band from Gqeberha, South Africa which was started in 2012. After countless line-up and membership changes, the band has become somewhat more of a shape-shifting musical collective, encouraging and welcoming friends to join the family of music, punk rock, community, and fun that is Undead Generation.

Their sound is a hybrid of punk rock, ska/reggae, hardcore, hip hop, alternative, and indie, often referred to simply as “Punk Fusion”. They often incorporate brass instruments, as well as session musicians or rappers into their live performances and studio recordings in order to provide a performance and show that is always guaranteed to be unique, entertaining, and memorable.

They have released several EP’s and continue to write, record, and perform music across South Africa, mostly around the Eastern Cape.

They have shared the stage with international acts such as Comeback Kid (Canada), Ashes (Belgium) and Vuvuvultures (UK) as well as many national acts such as Wonderboom, The Tazers, Straatligkinders, Truth And Its Burden, and many others.
