“You are collecting yourself from old things that are fading. Age behind dust. You are looking for yourself in all the roads you built with your feet. Some paths were already there. Some you shaped with your hands.”

– Busisiwe Mahlangu, Surviving Loss (2018)

In this workshop, we commune through words. Sicela ukukhanya. Sicela ukuthula. You are safe here. Don’t disappear.

To build a circle of trust, we ask that you come willing to turn your camera on. That you create a writing space that is quiet and safe. Light a candle. Burn incense. Bring a glass of water.
