1820 Settlers Monument on Lucas Avenue, three levels above the Guy Butler Theatre stage.

Thomas Pringle is a large hall in the 1820 Settler’s Monument complex. It is laid out with end-on seating on the floor, and a raised stage. The venue is best suited for music, comedy and the spoken word. There is a dressing room area to the right of the stage. There are a selection of bars, cafes and restaurants in the complex.

  • Storage Facility: There is limited storage space in Thomas Pringle. However, you may leave larger set pieces on the side stage of Guy Butler Theatre. Please arrange this in advance with the National Arts Festival Technical Office.
  • Flying and Rigging: It is possible to rig a backcloth from the rear of the stage. Please consult the Technical Office to find out what is possible.
