Glennie Hall is a multi-purpose space, suited to drama and musical theatre. The venue is designed for the National Arts Festival with a stage in front of the hall’s existing stage, and an end on scaffolding seating rake. The venue is blacked out, has full black traverse with black masking flats for wings. The permanent stage in the hall can act as a dressing room and storage space, and performers are able to crossover here without being seen by the audience. There is a dressing room to the stage left side of the stage. The venue has a balcony which is used as a technical control position.
