CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS
Creativate Digital Art Festival
Are you a creative or digital native making work which explores and/or navigates the space, place and possibilities at the intersection of the arts and technology? If yes, you are invited to submit a proposal for inclusion on the programme of the second edition of Creativate taking place at the 2019 National Arts Festival.
Creativate is a tech-meets-arts platform which showcases some of the best thinkers and creatives in their fields. We want to explore the realms of theatre, dance, visual art, film, music, gaming, hacking, coding, design, robotics, virtual reality, crowdsourced inspiration, artificial intelligence and all the spaces and crevices in between.
Submissions for Creativate 2019 will be considered in any one or combination of arts disciplines where the proposed work features or deploys technology as a critical component or tool for execution of the work. Successful applicants will be offered a production budget, presentation/speaker’s fee or honorarium depending on the nature of the proposal.
In addition a contribution towards travel and accommodation will be provided along with an all-access pass to Creativate 2019 events.
The deadline for submissions is 31 December 2018. UPDATE! The deadline for entries has been extended to 31 January 2019
