2017 Premier’s Cup Diski Tournament

The National Arts Festival, in partnership with Makana Municipality; the Eastern Cape Department of Sports, Recreation, Arts and Culture and the Office the Premier are proud to present the first Premiers Cup Diski Tournament

SCHEDULE

The tournament schedule is as follows;

Saturday 1 July
· Team Registration
· Opening Exhibition Match

Sunday 2 July
· Coaching Clinic and Players Bootcamp

Monday 3 July – Friday 07 July
· 10h00 to 16h00 Pool Games

Saturday 08 July
· Pool Playoffs

Sunday 09 July
· Semi and Quarter Final playoffs
· Final and Prize giving

Entry Guidelines
Entry is limited to a maximum of 24 squads comprising seven players each.

Rules regarding the composition of teams are as follows:

• A team may only register a squad of 7 players. That squad:
  • May only contain 2 players from a MLFA first division team
  • At least 1 player must be under the age of 16
  • At least 1 player must be over the age of 35
  • No more than 2 players from the same MLFA division team may be in the same squad.

Teams will have to show interest by pre-registering before the 19th of June.
All team members must be present for registration on 1 July.
Teams will not be required to play in uniforms.
There will be no registration fee.
The rules and regulations governing the matches will be made available to teams upon registration.
There will be cash prizes and trophies
