ReVisiting OtherWhere

DORMANTYOUTH & ODOUS

Recreating the feeling of the haunting of an alternative Club Night, ODOUS + DORMANTYOUTH employ the use of tape loops within a reimagined room, dubbed as an Otherwhere. This installation disconfigures and dismantles club spaces, enabling an architectural visualisation of how a spectre could have danced through (quite literally) a club that they had been to, many times before.
The desired effect of this installation is to create an atmosphere where the visitor would feel eerie as if in the presence of a poltergeist.
