The #SaviorGBV2022 Project is an impact Gender Based Violence Campaign to raise awareness of the staggering GBV rates in South Africa. We produced a dance music video with the song ‘Savior’ by Kendrick Lamar. This project aimed to use dance as a cathartic and creative process for those involved. Very often we feel helpless around issues of Gender Based Violence. Additionally, we never know who has experienced any form of this violence, thus providing a safe space for people to release feelings in any regard is part of a therapeutic process.
