Made as part of ‘The Sinking of The Mendi’, a large-scale exhibition worked on by Graham 1987-1994. It engages with the commemorative poetry of Mqhayi, particularly “Ukutshona kukaMendi”.

The triptych is also part of SS Mendi commemoration exhibition at CAS gallery, University of Cape Town. Opening date: February 26, 2017.
