Athi Musoke’s work is an exploration of the human experience through spiritual realms. The artwork uses realistic forms and shapes superimposed with abstract colours and expressive brushstrokes to convey surreal, dream like imagery that is a metaphor for exploring the emotional self, aetheric self and physical self. This is meant as a representation of the fourth dimension within third dimensional constructs. Similarly, the work aims to show how Musoke sees the world, imploring the viewer to also look and see. Expect themes of an esoteric nature, surrealism and expressionism along with some nude art.
