ABOUT THE ARTISTS

Ter Hollmann is the writer of the PANSA playwriting competition finalist Rainbow Nation and 2Lovers, which was a finalist in the Scribe Play Writing competition. He hopes one day to win one. He also wrote and starred in the acclaimed one man show, To Stand Somewhere. His acting credits include, Skeem Saam, Isidingo and eGoli. He trained at Rhodes University and Wits.

Tessa Jubber’s theatre highlights include playing lead roles in Othello and The Merchant of Venice at Maynardville, and various plays for Pieter Toerien. She trained at the University of Cape Town and her television credits include Isidingo, The Girl from St Agnes, Skeem Saam and Is’phindiselo. She can currently be seen in the Netflix action drama Collision.

Craig has received numerous Ovation awards. Most recently, for his new solo production Agony (Curtain Call). He won the prestigious Standard Bank Gold Ovation Award at the National Arts Festival in Grahamstown in 2015, for his performance of Johnny Boskak is Feeling Funny. He was nominated for Best Actor in a Lead Role (Male) during the 2016 Naledi Awards and won for Best Cutting Edge production. Craig was nominated for a Kyk-Net Fiesta Award for his performance of Johnny Boskak. He has won the Kanna Award for Best Male Actor, for his performance of the now translated into Afrikaans version of Johnny Boskak voel ’n Bietjie… In 2017 Craig starred in Moliere’s Tartuffe, directed by award-winning director Sylvaine Strike, for which he won the Fleur du Cap Award for Best Actor.
Craig Choreographed and performed in the University of Johannesburg’s Arts Centre’s production of Steven Berkoff’s Adaptation of Metamorphosis, directed by Alby Michaels, which was performed at NAF 2019. The production was nominated for Naledi Awards in ten categories including Best Choreography.
