MAMA! I BLEACHED MY PUNANI is a comic-drama based on the characters Mbalienhle and Maria exposing hidden agendas behind black hair. It describes the covert operations, scheming, and the disdain by parties outside of the black community, as well as the politics and policing to maintain the multimillion dollar black hair industry.

ABOUT THE ARTISTS
Auxillia is graduate from Zimbwawe Theatre Academy and Nthabiseng Mothibe is a graduate of Jika Performing Arts College. She is a poet, and it is her debut as an actress. This production is also Winnie Morale’s debut project, directed under supervision by Goitsemang Pholo.
