Five regulars – who happen to be heavy drinkers – grapple with a secret on a nearby farm, and as they enjoy their drinks and investigate this secret, their own secrets come to light. Set in a shebeen this surreal and comical play is an exploration of the themes surrounding alcoholism.

Khanya Ngcuka is a MA Directing student at Rhodes University’s Drama Department. Khanya co-directed the Ovation Award-winning double bill Match Box at last year’s NAF.
