Toni Morkel:
Veteran theatre maker, performer and director, Toni Morkel, joins ROBABY Productions once more, as director of The Agents.
Toni’s most recent directorial work includes the Balloonacy and the acclaimed award-winning Firefly.
Kyla Davis:
Kyla Davis is a theatre-maker, director, educator and an activist. She is consistently moved by the potential for live theatre, in particular mask and movement theatre, to mobilise hearts, minds and hands in service of a more empathetic and caring world. It is because of this empathetic connection, that she is powerfully drawn to choral work. She enjoys experimenting with the endless possibilities for play within am ensemble where there are no leaders and no followers but rather, a hivemind of hyper-present performers. She loves masks, puppetry and the world of the bouffon!
Lisa Derryn Overy:
Lisa is an actress, theatre maker, improviser, and performing arts educator
with 15 years of experience in the South African theatre, film and television
industry. She completed her BA (Hons) in Drama as well as a BA in
Journalism and Media Studies at Rhodes University. Over the years she has been involved in numerous improvisation and sketch troupes including Causing a Scene, Jittery Citizens, POPArt Improv and SASS. When Lisa is not performing, she focuses on performing arts education and workshop facilitation within the school and corporate environments.
Roberto Pombo:
Roberto Pombo is a Johannesburg based theatre-maker, educator and performer. He holds an MA in Theatre and Performance from Wits University and attended the prestigious three-year performance program at The Helikos International School of Theatre Creation in Italy under the direction of world-renown theatre master, Giovanni Fusetti. His passion for theatre and performance is strongly routed in the world of the clown, bouffon and the grotesque.
