The year is 2021, the country is South Africa, and the place is Weskoppies. The global pandemic has frozen the world and cancelled THE PERFORMING ARTS until further notice. Natasha, a brilliant performing artist has become a victim at the hands of the new world order, where creativity in THE PERFORMING ARTS is handed over to artificial intelligence.
Although this looks impressive, conceptually, and theoretically advanced in practice, it involves kidnapping artists from around the world to use as guinea pigs. Prof K (the code name of the system) is at the finish line with its last case numbered 2124. Its mission is to prove how spontaneous, dangerous, and out of control creativity is and how it can destabilise the new society. It is definitely time to put an end of THE PERFORMING ARTS.
Time is not on the side of Natasha, who is given 60 minutes to complete the music of the creative work she started at the African Festival of Performing Arts. The system has given her a last opportunity to prove her point that creativity will always prevail. Will music save the soul of the dying preforming artist or will the abusive system win?
